Who we are

A mission made of presence, faith and care

The Light for Mozambique Mission is led by missionaries Emerson and Rose Marçolar in the community of Mutua, in the province of Sofala.

The work happens simply and close to people: getting to know their needs, sharing the Word of God and offering help to children and families who need food and basic conditions to survive with more dignity.

Every gift received is turned into care for those who need it most.

What we do

We care for people

The reality of many families in Mutua is marked by poverty and the lack of basic resources.

The mission works to:

  • Provide food for the children
  • Help families in need
  • Contribute to basic conditions for survival
  • Support people in the community seeking a more dignified life
  • Share the Gospel and the hope of Jesus
  • Strengthen local workers and leaders

This is not a large structure. It is daily work, done up close, meeting real needs as they arise.

Love that turns into action

An opportunity for Elder Daniel

Elder Daniel is married, a father of six, and has served the Lord alongside the mission for 12 years. He is one of the main workers of the effort carried out in the community.

Through the generosity of the people who support the mission, it was possible to give him a motorbike.

With it, Daniel will be able to work as a motorcycle taxi driver and earn extra income to help support his family.

We praise God because every contribution received can turn into food, care, opportunity and dignity for a family in Mozambique.
